Link Text to a PDF
This is an example of a text linking to a PDF.
Step 1: Upload your PDF
- Navigate to Manage > Content > Files
- Click Add file(s) button
- Drag and drop your file OR click on Add Files
- Make any desired changes to the file
- Save
Step 2: Copy the File's URL
- Navigate to Manage > Content > Files
- Click on the desired file name
- Click the link to the file on the resulting page
- Copy the portion of the URL path that comes AFTER the .io or .edu portion, including the
/
- Example: uasites.arizona.edu
/sites/default/files/Sample%20Document.pdf
- Example: uasites.arizona.edu
Step 3: Link the Desired Text
- Navigate to the page you want to link to
- Edit the page
- Highlight the actionable text you want to be the link
- Click on the link icon
- Paste the portion of the link you copied into the link box, Save
- Example:

- Apply styles as desired
- Save the page
