Views can be used to display other types of content (such as News, Events or People) in an organized way. Simply adding any one of these items will automatically update the view. To update how or where the views are displayed, see below.


  • View: What type of content you want to display
    • uaqs_events - {style}: Events
    • uaqs_news - {style}: News articles
    • uaqs_person_directory - {style}: People listing in a directory format
  • Arguments: Additional parameters to filter the content that gets displayed

How to Create a View of a Specific Category:

  1. Find the taxonomy term ID of the category you wish to display
    1. Navigate to Manage > Structure > Taxonomy
    2. Select List Terms next to the desired content type
    3. Select Edit next to the desired term
    4. Copy the term ID in the URL (Example: /term/5 means the term ID is 5). More information about Taxonomy terms can be found here.
  2. Create a Flexible Page
  3. Select the "Edit" Tab on the blue menu bar under the Title.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Add View.
  5. Specify the term ID in the Arguments field
    1. Note: If people are showing up twice, specify the term as 5,5 to display only that category
    2. To display items that have two or more categories, use quotes like "5,6"
  6. Save
